As we are expanding over the years, the following positions are available for you to apply:

Full Time Baker:

  • Prepare & produce cake sponge, fillings, buttercream & other desserts
  • Discuss and develop new products & flavours
  • Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand & ensures the proper storage and refrigeration
  • Maintain cleanliness & orderliness of your work station everyday

Requirements:

  • At least one year experience in commercial kitchen
  • Posses knowledge of baking techniques
  • Posses problem solving skills
  • Self motivated & responsible in your job scope
  • Maintain high standard of work ethics
  • Able to work in team
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

Full Time Cake Froster / Cake Artist:
  • Layering, frosting & decorating of cakes based on the customers’ requests
  • Discuss & develop new products
  • Ensure the consistency & presentation of the end products
  • Assembling & layering of tiered cakes
  • Maintain inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness & orderliness of your work station everyday

Requirements:

  • At least one year experience & able to work well with buttercream cakes
  • Have an eye for aesthetics & details
  • Posses great decorating & piping skills
  • Posses problem solving skills
  • Self motivated & responsible in your job scope
  • Maintain high standard of work ethics
  • Able to work in team
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

Full Time Fondant Artist:
  • Prepare fondant decorations for cakes
  • Fondant decorating of cakes based on the customers’ requests
  • Ensure the consistency & presentation of the end products
  • Maintain inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness & orderliness of your work station everyday

Requirements:

  • At least two years experience in fondant or clay modeling
  • Have an eye for aesthetics & details (e.g. perfect measurements of fondant decorations)
  • Posses problem solving skills
  • Self motivated & responsible in your job scope
  • Maintain high standard of work ethics
  • Able to work in team
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

Full Time Sales Administrator:
  • Process & generate orders from backend & send them to the kitchen
  • Answering customers’ inquiries via our social media platforms
  • Propose & suggest new possible cake designs to customers or based on their requirements
  • Liaise with the logistic team to ensure that the orders are delivered smoothly to the customers
  • Other possible admin duties related to daily operations

Requirements:

  • At least one year experience in sales or related field in the pastry industry
  • Have an eye for aesthetics & details
  • Knowledgeable in Woocommerce (optional, but is a bonus)
  • Posses problem solving skills
  • Self motivated & responsible in your job scope
  • Maintain high standard of work ethics
  • Able to work in team
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

Internship Program:

Lisse Cakes welcome current students to join & finish their education as interns with us. As hands on as it gets, from the daily operations such as answering the customers’ inquiries to the order processing in the kitchen and lastly the logistics; our interns will get to fully experience what it is like to work in a fast paced commercial kitchen. At the end of your internship, you will equipped with skills and confidence that you’ll need to succeed in your future pastry career.

Pastry Interns:
  • Assist in the production of cake sponge & other desserts
  • Assist in crumb coating & frosting of cakes
  • Assist in basic fondant modeling
  • Ensure good hygiene and food safety standard
  • Opportunity to join the discussion & development of our new products
Admin & Operation Interns:
  • Assist in processing the orders from the backend
  • Assist in answering customers’ inquiries
  • Assist with logistics scheduling to ensure orders are delivered
  • Assist with orders packing
  • Opportunity to join the team discussion to better understand the operations of a business
